Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Kalahari Goerapan
Arrive and check in at the lodge. Meet fellow hikers at the lodge bar for welcoming drinks, followed by a hearty dinner.

Day 2 – Hike over Saltpans and Red Dunes
After an early breakfast, hike across Goerapan’s vast salt pans and fiery red dunes. Enjoy a light lunch, then transfer to Molopo Lodge near Askham. Unwind with sundowners on the dunes (own account) and dinner at the lodge.

Day 3 – Camel Milking and Lost City Hike
Breakfast before heading to Koppieskraal for a unique camel milking experience. Hike the Lost City salt pans, followed by lunch at Koppieskraal farmhouse. Later, transfer to Dreghorn Game Reserve to relax by the pool and enjoy dinner.

Day 4 – Cultural Hike with Komani San Guide
Explore the dunes with a Komani San guide, learning about local wildlife tracks and history. Lunch at the Komani San kitchen, then afternoon relaxation. Evening game drive and sundowners on the dunes conclude the day.

Day 5 – Meerkat Interaction and Kalahari Trails Hike
Spend the morning observing and interacting with meerkats, followed by a guided hike interpreting animal tracks. After lunch at Kgalagadi Lodge, enjoy a sunset game drive with snacks and drinks.

Day 6 – Sunrise Hike and Departure
Experience a final sunrise hike before breakfast. Check out and say goodbye, or extend your stay at Kgalagadi Lodge.
