Come experience Big 5 bushveld like never before. Our cycling safari takes you on a 3-night adventure through the wild terrain of the Selati Private Game Reserve, giving you the opportunity to experience wildlife in a truly unique and active way. Riding a bike through the reserve allows us to explore remote areas not accessible by safari vehicles, while taking you further and farther than on foot. Our professional trail guides give you the freedom to view wildlife big and small, while prioritizing your safety throughout.
We have exclusive use of the Nkuwa Luxury Tented Trails Camp, with accommodation that immerses you into the bush surroundings without compromising on creature comforts.
After mornings spent cycling, you will also enjoy afternoon game drives, followed by sundowners and evenings spent around the campfire.
Day 1
You’ll be met by one of your guides at the entrance to the reserve and escorted to your exclusive camp. After settling in and a briefing, we’ll head out for an afternoon ride in the area of the camp. Once back at camp, dinner is served and we spend our first night with the sound of the wilderness.
Day 2
We leave early to explore the southern areas with the majestic hills and ridges, a favoured spot of elephants. We’ll make our way back for lunch at camp. After a relaxing afternoon we’ll head out for an afternoon game drive and sundowner at the large waterhole. Then it’s back to camp for another evening around the campfire.
Day 3
We head north today to explore the lush riverine landscape along the Selati river, home to a large lion pride and the buffalo they follow. A coffee in the bush keeps us going before heading to camp where we’ll be able to rest. Then it’s off for our final game drive and sundowner at a superb sundowner spot before heading home for our last evening in the bush.
Day 4
We have enough time to get in a final morning ride to enjoy the Selati landscape. Breakfast is served before we say farewell.
