Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival and Welcome
Arrive at Okiep Country Hotel in the afternoon, settle in, and meet your guides. Take some time to explore the hotel’s charming surroundings before enjoying a delicious dinner, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2 – Private Farm Ride and Mine Tour
After breakfast, cycle a scenic 40km route on private farm roads with rolling hills and spectacular veld views. Stop for coffee breaks and enjoy a light lunch at the finish. Later, participate in a fascinating mine tour at Okiep Country Hotel or relax with sundowners on the granite koppie, taking in panoramic vistas. Dinner rounds off a rewarding day.

Day 3 – Goegap Nature Reserve Exploration
Following breakfast, drive your vehicle convoy to Goegap Nature Reserve near Springbok. Bike through 45km of trails surrounded by unique flora and captivating views. Mid-ride coffee break replenishes your energy before a traditional local meal at the reserve. Return to the hotel for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Day 4 – Copper Trail and Historical Ride
Begin with breakfast, then cycle the famous Copper Trail MTB route (55km) passing through farms and the historic copper mining town of Nababeep. See vibrant Namaqua daisies, iconic quiver trees, and old copper trail bridges. Stop for coffee and snacks at Jakkalswater Guest Farm before completing a circular ride back to Okiep Country Hotel for a light lunch and some downtime. Enjoy your final dinner with fellow riders.

Day 5 – Departure
Enjoy breakfast (optional) and say your goodbyes as your unforgettable Namakwa mountain biking journey concludes.
