An early morning arrival at the Port Elizabeth (now Gqeberha) Airport, South Africa gives you plenty of time to collect your car from Avis and get to your first destination and first adventure; Tsitsikamma, the beautiful forested area of the Garden Route where you’ll explore a deep cliff-walled ravine on Kayak & Lilo in the Tsitsikamma National Park.

Surrounded by swathes of indigenous forest, your first peaceful night’s sleep in South Africa will be at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn in a premier room with breakfast provided.

Day 2
With just enough time to digest your breakfast, you’ll arrive at the Bloukrans Bridge for your skywalk and awe-inspiring bungee jump. With every fibre of your body tingling in its post-adrenalin state you will drive to the Garden Route town of Knysna where you’ll spend 2-nights at the classic Parkes Manor which is close to all the action at the Waterfront and has views of the Knysna Lagoon.

Day 3
Enjoy looking for local wildlife while doing a Scootours that will take you on an exhilarating descent through the Knysna Forest.

Day 4
After breakfast, you drive to Mossel Bay enjoying glimpses of incredible scenery as you go; long golden beaches, turquoise lagoons and forests. Mossel Bay is where you get to go on the longest over-the-ocean zip line in the world. At approximately 1100m long you will enjoy views of the caves below, local sharks and seals! During high tide and abnormal weather, there is a chance that you might get slightly soaked.

Day 5
Following the long range of mountains known as the Langeberg, you will drive to Elgin to enjoy a thrilling 4-hour canopy tour that zig-zags over rivers and gorges. You will continue on to Cape Town - look out for Table Mountain on the horizon and you’ll know you are close- where you will enjoy 2 nights at Cloud Nine boutique hotel on a bed and breakfast basis in a Heritage Classic room with balcony. Book your ticket up Table Mountain for the next day.

Day 6
After breakfast, you’ll drive the short distance up to the lower cable station on the slopes of Table Mountain and embark the cable car. Enjoy the spectacular ride-on one of the steepest cable car rides in the world you’ll be blown away by the views. When you get to the top a 45min abseil experience awaits you. After you’ve abseiled down 340-feet of rock face to a ledge you’ll do a stunning 40-minute hike back to the top. Stroll around the top, taking in the views, before taking the cable car back down. Head to the vibey Cape Town Waterfront for your last afternoon.

Day 7
After breakfast you will check out and return your rental car to Avis at Cape Town international airport and board your rest and recovery flight home!
