Our expeditions are not “jump in and hope for the best” affairs. They are the culmination of progressive training and preparation. Beginners start on the Palmiet River in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, learning essential skills like paddle strokes, Eskimo rolls, hazard recognition, and swift water safety. Intermediate and advanced paddlers progress to bigger, faster rivers, refining technical skills and rescue techniques to expedition-ready levels.
