Day 1
Arrival day in the Kingdom of Eswatini. Feast on a Legends Backpackers Lodge big braai dinner. What would a Southern African experience be without a traditional cookout on a roaring bonfire - enjoy the warm hospitality, make friends and marvel at the star-studded sky.

Day 2
Full-day, white-water rafting or tubing/abseiling combo. The white-water rafting takes place on the nearby Great Usutu River or the Komati River depending on seasonal changes. Rapids go up to grade 4, so expect a little wildness. If it’s not your thing then go on a Mlilwane adventure instead; horse riding or hiking, with lunch.

Day 3
After your day of wild water, it’s time for wildlife! Your experienced Swazi guide will take you on a half-day MTB cycle safari through the undulating hills of the beautifully scenic Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Following game trails and tracks you’ll come face to face with herds of antelope, warthog and even hippopotamus. Bring your camera, there’ll be plenty of stops to quietly observe and take photos. If you feel this is too extreme, then the alternative is a Swazi Cultural Village walking tour where you’ll learn about Swazi traditions some of which are still observed and practiced.

Day 4
Our catch-your-breath day. But this doesn’t mean you’ll do nothing. Bookable options for XXL adventurers are a Hlane Royal National Park safari, a Mkhaya Game Reserve safari, Northern Highlights tour, Swazi cooking course or quad/ATV trails. Free, chill-out options are hanging out at the Legends pool or craft market shopping. In the evening enjoy a delicious Legends dinner and games evening.

Day 5
The second largest granite dome in the world (the first is Uluru in Australia) 30 Billion year old Sibebe is the setting for today’s Xtreme Hiking Tour. This half-day hike is guided by local Swazi hiking guides and includes lunch. The hike offers amazing view of the Lebombo Mountains. In the afternoon an arts and craft tour gives the opportunity to shop for beautiful locally made gifts. At the end of the day you’ll enjoy a sundowners tour. Evening out at the magical venue Malandela’s-House on Fire.

Day 6
A thrilling zip-line flight through one of Swaziland’s last remaining indigenous forests, this canopy tour includes lunch. You can choose to do a full-day white-water rafting adventure if you prefer. In the evening get your carnivores teeth in at a local shish’nyama diner. End the night with a fun pub crawl.

Day 7
If the previous night’s pub crawl has you waking a little bleary eyed, then a morning cultural village walking tour would be a wise choice. If you’re still full of energy you can choose to do the MTB cycle safari. An evening quad/ATV trail or caving adventure with a hot spring swim afterwards completes your final adventure. A pizza dinner completes another perfect day.

Day 8
Time to say goodbye to your new friends and the warm and welcoming hub of Swaziland.
