Itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrival & Swellendam
Arrive early at Cape Town International Airport and collect your rental vehicle. Drive east over the Langeberg Mountains to the charming town of Swellendam. Check into the honeymoon suite at Schoone Oort Country House, a historic estate nestled in rolling hills. Explore quaint shops or enjoy activities like horse riding and hiking before a restful evening.

Day 2 – Oudtshoorn via the R62
After breakfast, head inland over the Langeberg Mountains, entering the Klein Karoo via the scenic R62 route. Stay at Mooiplaas Guest House and indulge in spa treatments or relax. A special stargazing experience awaits under the clear Karoo skies.

Day 3 – Ostriches, Caves & Knysna
Visit the Highgate Ostrich Farm with a private guide and marvel at these giant birds. Then explore the vast Cango Caves, with the option of an adventurous caving tour. Continue to Knysna’s green coastal forests and check into Kanonkop Lodge, a romantic suite overlooking the lagoon. End the day with a sunset marine safari and sundowners at Knysna Heads.

Day 4 – Leisure in Knysna
Spend the day exploring Knysna’s vibrant waterfront, walk to the Eastern Head, visit the ancient giant tree, or browse local markets. In the late afternoon, enjoy a 2.5-hour romantic sunset cruise aboard the Outeniqua, spotting dolphins, whales, and soaking up coastal beauty with bubbly and catering.

Day 5 – Tsitsikamma National Park Adventures
Drive to Storms River with possible beach stops en route. Join Untouched Kayaking for a 2-hour paddle through the spectacular Tsitsikamma waterways. In the afternoon, experience a canopy zipline tour with Storms River Adventures. Overnight in the Misty Mountains Reserve honeymoon lodge with stunning ocean views.

Day 6 – Bloukrans Bungee & Port Elizabeth
Begin with an adrenaline-pumping bungee jump off Bloukrans Bridge, the world’s highest commercial bungee. Afterward, make your way to Port Elizabeth and check into Singa Lodge for two nights. Enjoy the relaxed beach town atmosphere and nearby game parks.

Day 7 – Explore Port Elizabeth & Addo Elephant Park
Spend your day at leisure exploring Port Elizabeth’s beaches or venture to Addo Elephant National Park for wildlife viewing, less than an hour away.

Day 8 – Departure
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a final swim or stroll on the beach, or some last-minute shopping in the historic town center. Return your rental car at Port Elizabeth Airport and board your flight home.
