Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Nagtegaalsfontein
Arrive before sunset to settle into your room in the beautifully restored farmhouse. Meet your guides and fellow cyclists over a welcome dinner and drink by the fire under the Karoo stars.

Day 2 – Esperanza Circuit (±30 km)
After a hearty breakfast, set off on a 30 km circular route through the Esperanza farm. A few steady climbs around a Karoo mountain and an exhilarating downhill make this the most challenging and rewarding ride of the trip. Lunch awaits back on the farm, followed by an afternoon of rest or poolside relaxation.

Day 3 – Sewefontein Ride (±32 km)
Cycle through the scenic Sewefontein area, named after its seven natural fountains. Expect varied terrain as you pass from grasslands to thornbushes and wetlands. A support vehicle will keep you supplied with water, fruit, and homemade biscuits throughout. Return to the farmhouse for a well-earned lunch and a slow-paced afternoon.

Day 4 – Colesberg Breakfast Ride
Enjoy an early ride into Colesberg for breakfast before looping back through the vast grasslands and gentle koppies of the Karoo. This ride captures the essence of the region — open spaces, crisp air, and endless horizons. End your day at Pink Hill Karoo Guest House before returning to Nagtegaalsfontein for a farewell dinner.

Day 5 – Breakfast & Goodbye
Enjoy one last breakfast around the long table before departing at leisure. Optional extra nights can be arranged for guests wishing to extend their stay.
