Get ready for a serious dose of adrenaline at Zip X Loskop Adventures, home to one of South Africa’s highest zip-line adventures. Set on a private farm between Middelburg and Loskop Dam in Mpumalanga, this seven-line experience combines speed, height and spectacular scenery in the heart of the Highveld.

The Zip X adventure covers approximately 1.4 kilometres across seven separate zip lines, giving you plenty of time in the air and a different view of the landscape with every line. With trained guides leading each group, you’ll receive the necessary equipment and instructions before setting off. And if the excitement gets a little too much, there are three bailout points along the route.

One of the most special features of the experience is the landscape itself. The farm is home to the rare Lanatus and Middelburgensis cycads, species found only in this part of South Africa. Some of these remarkable trees are estimated to be around 850 years old, making the journey through the area about more than just the adrenaline.

Once you reach the bottom of the zip line, a 4x4 vehicle takes you back to reception, giving you a chance to catch your breath and take in the surroundings after your flight across the valley.
