Zip Line in Middelburg: Fly Over the Loskop Valley

The Zip X adventure is situated on a private farm between Middelburg and Loskop Dam in Mpumalanga. The seven lines zig-zag across the landscape, with some sections reaching speeds of up to 70 km/h. You’ll be fitted with the necessary safety equipment and given instructions before setting off, with trained guides accompanying groups along the route.
What makes this experience particularly special is the landscape below you. The valley is home to the rare Lanatus and Middelburgensis cycads, species associated with this part of Mpumalanga. Some of the area's ancient cycads are estimated to be around 850 years old, giving the adventure a fascinating natural-history element alongside the adrenaline.
There are also three bailout points along the zipline for anyone who decides that seven lines of flying through the valley might be enough! Once you reach the bottom, a 4x4 vehicle takes you back to the reception area, completing the adventure without having to hike back up.
