The only two aerial boardwalks in South Africa currently that we know of are in the Dlinza Forest in KwaZulu-Natal and Die Boomslang in Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape Town.
This walkway brings you in close contact with the forest canopy and its varied wildlife. If you are in the area it is a great outing for the family and not to be missed. Dlinza Forest is well-known to the birding community for its variety of forest bird species.
A new addition to the garden is the Boomslang, a curved tree canopy walkway that winds its way through the trees in the arboretum offering 360-degree views of the garden.
We would classify this outdoor activity as a soft adventure for the entire family.
