You will tootle past lakes, rivers, fynbos and bird filled marshes. Beautiful trees, like the Cape Chestnut, with its pink blooms, and South Africa’s national tree, the yellowwood, will charm you along the way and bush buck and other forest creatures are sometimes spotted.
Segway personal transporters do have a small learning curve and time is given before the tour to master the technique under careful tutelage of your guides. Guides will also give you some insights into this important wetland environment and the plants and creatures that thrive there.
