Kosi Forest Lodge is situated inside the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, KwaZulu-Natal. Turtle tracking Turtle tracking takes place during breeding season (November to February). Depart the lodge in the late afternoon and return at approximately 11 pm. Note that you may return after midnight if you need to cover a greater distance to try and find a turtle.
Please note that young children may find it arduous due to the amount of walking and the lateness of the hour. The excursion does not return for inclement weather conditions unless it poses a safety risk. It is a 1-hour drive to Bhanga Nek, from where you will walk along the beach in search of turtles.
