Icarus Skydiving School

Icarus Skydiving school in Gauteng is fully equipped to train a complete novice to do his / her first parachute jump. Our courses follow the Parachute Association of South Africa (PASA) curriculum and we adhere strictly to the PASA Safety and Training Standards. Our instructors are all PASA Qualified and have in excess of a 1000 jumps.

*For Tandem Jumps
There is a 35kg Min and a max weight of 100Kg.
Min age 12 years (1.2m tall) and anyone between 12 – 18 years of age needs parental/guardian consent.
*For Accelerated Free Fall and Static Line Courses
min of 16 years of age and there is a max weight limit of 100kg.

Ground school courses for first time jumpers are held at the Icarus Skydiving School or at the clients premises on request.

Accelerated Freefall Skydiving Course
Accelerated Freefall (AFF) is a program designed for each individual to turn you into a safe and independent skydiver.

Static Line Skydiving Course
Static Line training is the “traditional” method of learning how to skydive. On your first jump – and at least the next seven – a static line attached to the aeroplane automatically opens your parachute.

Tandem Skydiving
Tandem Skydiving is a first class way for you to experience the thrill of Freefall and the serenity of a four-minute parachute ride with a minimum of training.

Demonstration Jumps
Our Display Jump team has had the privilege of jumping into some major events around the country. We have done displays jumps for corporates such as: Vodacom, MTN, Kaizer Chiefs, ABSA and Standard Bank into venues such as Wanders Stadium, Ellis Park, Loftus and Soccer City Etc.

We can do display jumps for schools, and smaller corporate events. We can assist no matter has big or small your event may be.
