Hoedspruit is fast becoming one of the major tourist towns in the Greater Kruger area, and Hoedspruit Helicopters is proud to be the only helicopter service offering scenic flights, as well as transfers to one of the three hundred lodges in the area.
Our fleet consists of a Robinson 44 (3 seater) and a Robinson 66 (4 seater), which enables us to take larger groups (availability dependent)
To fly into the Blyde River Canyon is an experience of a lifetime. Choose to do a one hour scenic flight, or stop for a picnic in the middle of nowhere and perhaps have a little swim in the river during the stop.
The scenery is pristine, and our experienced pilots weave you in and out of rock formations, skim the surface of the water and even bring you face to face with some of the many waterfalls within the canyon.
We stop at various locations for our picnic stops, and you can be assured the location is as remote as you can get… you could possibly hike; but why hike if you can fly!
Our pilots are fun-loving and informative, and keep you entertained along the way…you may even be so lucky to spot some wildlife from the sky.
We also offer transfers to various lodges and airports in the area, special occasion flights and well… if you can dream it, we can probably do it!
