The Blyde River flows from the Drakensberg in Mpumalanga down into the low veld in Limpopo. The river carves out a magnificent canyon on its route down the escarpment. This valley hosts some great hiking trails in beautiful indigenous forest and includes the famous Burke’s Luck potholes.
