Daytrippers - Cycle Tours in the Garden Route.
Daytrippers does a few scheduled and a whole host of bespoke cycling tours down the Garden Route each year.
The ‘Cape Build Up’, in February, is a 5-day Port Elizabeth to Cape Town road riding tour for good riders where the focus is more on the cycling rather than just sightseeing to get you fit for the season or just raise your game.
The ‘Winter Warmer’ in July is a very relaxed non-technical mountain bike ride whose route changes slightly each year but typically focuses on the Little Karoo area and starts in George.The riding is on district roads with some spectacular passes and scenery.
Our ‘Enduro Tour’ happens a few times a year and we visit some of the best trails up the Garden route and sometimes even arrange shuttles up the climbs. Long travel bikes are best suited to land the jumps.
All tours supply full back-up with snack stops, lunches out on the road or where possible coffee stops. Cycle guides ride along to assist with any mechanicals or lend moral support.
