CityRock is a Cape town climbing institution. Many of South Africa’s top climbers spent time sharpening their moves on our exciting climbing walls before venturing out onto granite and sandstone. CityRock provides a safe and vibrant environment to explore the wonderful sport of rock climbing. Our mission is to teach and instil good climbing practice on state-of-the-art climbing walls. We have 180 top rope routes and 5 dedicated areas of lead routes that are regularly changed as well as a bouldering area of around 170 bouldering problems. A well-equipped fitness and training facility, including a yoga studio, reinforces our reputation as an indoor climbing destination that takes all aspects of climbing seriously. We rent out quality climbing gear and the climbing area is manned by experienced qualified climbing instructors.
CityRock’s sociable relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place for a kid’s party or team building event where creative climbing games, competitions and other exciting aerial activities are facilitated by our excellent team.
