The South African National Archery Association (Sanaa) Operators

The South African National Archery Association (Sanaa) is the national sports federation for all amateur archery in South Africa. It is affiliated to a number of governing sporting bodies, including the international governing body World Archery, the International Field Archery Association* (IFAA) and World Archery Africa. It is a member in good standing of the National Olympic Committee (SASCOC) and the World Archery Commonwealth. Sanaa is recognised as the national federation by the South African Department of Sport and Recreation (SRSA).

As of 1 January 2015, all amateur archery was unified under one umbrella with committees, headed by the elected representative, responsible for the different disciplines (such as Field, 3D, Target, Indoor Archery). The model of one body applies to the provincial archery bodies, where one provincial body is responsible for both IFAA and World Archery codes.
