Archery Adventures – Lourensford Wine Estate, Somerset West

Take your aim at Archery Adventures Cape Town, the second branch of this popular adventure now set in the beautiful surrounds of Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West. After growing into one of the Top 100 Adventures in South Africa on the Garden Route, Archery Adventures has brought its unique 3D archery experience to Cape Town — giving locals and visitors the chance to step into the shoes of Robin Hood.

The adventure starts with a 20–30 minute introduction and basic instruction, so no experience is needed. Once you’ve mastered the basics, your guide will lead you on a scenic trail through the forest, where lifelike 3D targets are set up to test your skill and accuracy. Every shot is scored, so you can compete against yourself or your group, adding a fun and competitive edge to the experience.

Along the way, you’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty of Lourensford Wine Estate, one of the Cape’s most iconic wine farms. To make the day unforgettable, participants receive a video, photos, and a certificate to celebrate their adventure.

Archery Adventures is ideal for individuals, small groups, and parties (groups of 2–6, with larger groups by request). For those not taking part, Lourensford offers plenty to enjoy — from its coffee shop to the bustling weekend market.
