Kings Park Archers – Archery Range & Courses in Durban

For newcomers, introductory courses run over Saturday and Sunday mornings, three hours each day, and are open to participants aged 10 and up. Our SANAA-accredited volunteers guide students through the basics of archery, teaching proper form, aim, and technique, while all equipment is provided. Each participant enjoys fun shooting sessions and leaves with a certificate of completion, marking their first steps into this timeless sport.

For those wishing to take their passion further, Kings Park Archers offers guidance on different archery styles, including recurve, compound, and traditional bows, as well as rental options. Our experienced members and coaches help aspiring archers choose the right equipment and training path to match their goals.

The club hosts monthly competitions and proudly competes at regional and national levels in field, 3D, and indoor events. Over the years, Kings Park Archers has produced some of South Africa’s most accomplished archers, including multiple Proteas representatives and national record holders.
