A family-friendly, fast and fun introduction to Cape Town’s scenic beauty! Scootours freewheeling Monster Mountain Scooters are comfortable and easy to operate. They are light-footed machines (the fat tyres give them a floaty feel) that can freewheel at exciting speeds but are also easy to keep to a more sedate pace for the less daring participant.
Scootours Cape Town has three exhilarating off-road descents to choose from. The first two, which are generally run as a combo are trails through fynbos and forest that descend Signal Hill (with Lions Head towering above you) and Table Mountain. Your Signal Hill track runs all the way down into colourful Bokaap where you’ll be picked up for your next adventure. Incredible views of the city bowl and the mountains are with you all the way as you wind down the slopes. The third Scootour’s offering is a descent through vineyards on a wine farm just a 30-minutes’ drive from Cape Town. This is a wonderful introduction to the Cape’s celebrated wine industry and includes wine tasting and, on request, a traditional South African ‘braai’.
Scootours happily customize outings for special occasions. What better way to celebrate turning 10 than a Scootours party when you’re finally able to ‘drive’ a Monster Mountain Scooter on your own! We also put together and facilitate Scootours team-building gatherings; a light-hearted but invigorating way for colleagues to spend time together. The Scootours outing can be a speedy 1.5-hours experience, so for a quick refreshing interlude out of the office, it’s ideal.
Scootours takes safety seriously and our qualified guides are extremely attentive throughout the experience. Thorough briefings are given at the start of the tour and guests will get a feel for the scooters before setting off.
