Horse Riding Adventures on the Beach – Gallop Through the Beauty of the Overberg

If you have dreamed of riding on an endless white beach, with turquoise ocean on one side, and majestic, fynbos-clad mountains on the other, look no further. Feel the freedom of galloping on an empty beach, with only the sound of your horse’s hoofbeats and the roar of the waves. We offer a variety of trails, including our popular Premium Beach Trail, allowing for a swim on horseback in the crystal-clear ocean, Sundowner Trail, offering spectacular views of the sunset over the Atlantic, and Exclusive Champagne Trail, perfect for any special occasion.

Our Mountain Fynbos Trail is ideal for experiencing the splendour of our Fynbos Kingdom. Tailor-made trails (full moon and wine tasting, etc.) are available. Refreshments and a full photographic/video package are provided on trails. Just 2 hours from Cape Town, we are close enough for day trips, or overnight, and experience the warm hospitality of the Overberg. Trails are about 2½-hours long, and the small group size allows for individual attention.

We have a stable of well-behaved horses and ponies (many rescued and rehabilitated), to cater for all personalities and riding levels, from beginners to advanced. We accommodate mixed ability groups, without compromising safety or fun. Experience an exhilarating canter or gallop, or opt to take it a little slower, whilst enjoying the scenery. View southern right whales from June to November, and seals, otters, dolphins and penguins are also often sighted.
