Kurland Park Horse Trails - Horse Riding operator near Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Plettenberg Bay area. Our trails offer a combination of hidden forest paths, water crossings, long cantering stretches, and breathtaking mountain views.

Enjoy a stroll along the Hol river, through the ever-changing landscape of indigenous forest, farmlands, and diverse eco-systems of unspoiled fauna and flora complimented by the aromatic smell of fynbos and calls from the many different bird species.

Add passionate guides, a stable of exceptional horses and you have the makings of an unforgettable riding experience that will leave you wanting more. Our horse riding is available to children and adults from beginners to advanced. 

All our rides are accompanied by trained, enthusiastic guides who will ensure that you are matched to the right horse and that the basic commands are explained to you. Our priorities are safety, enjoyment, and comfort, regardless of riding experience.

We offer a variety of trail ride options to allow you to explore our amazing landscape on horseback, a combination of amazing views, vineyards, and mountains covered in fynbos.

1 hour - Mountain view and forest ride @ R625pp
Our 1-hour horse trail is great for families and friends looking for a gentle introduction to horse riding but enjoyed by riders of all levels. Meander along  
the mountainside, through the indigenous forest, and across the farmlands.

2 hour - Fynbos River Ride @ R900pp
Take a stroll along the Hol River, through the fynbos and indigenous forest with our well-trained horses and experienced guides. Add to the romance with  
a gourmet picnic basket (R220pp excluding drinks) while you relax next to the river.

Half-day - Couples wine route and pamper package @ R2350pp (Wednesday - Saturday only)
Spoil your other half with a ride to Newstead Lund Family Vineyards for a wine tasting and tapas lunch followed by a couples massage at the luxurious  
Kurland Spa. The route meanders through forests & fynbos, across the salt river, and along the foot of the Tsitsikamma mountain range.

Half-day - Ride, wine, and dine trail @ R1550pp (Wednesday - Saturday only)
Travel through fynbos, forests and cross the Salt River to the beautiful Newstead Lund Family Vineyards. Enjoy a tapas lunch and wine tasting before
venturing back to the stables along the foot of the Tsitsikamma mountain range.
