The trail ranges in difficulty from moderate to fit, with the longest day covering 18km. It is mostly clear and well-maintained, providing a safe and enjoyable experience without steep vertical climbs. Along the way, enjoy the diverse landscapes of the Drakensberg, from the rugged Clarens Sandstone hills to sweeping valleys at altitudes between 1,250 and 2,000 meters. The trail is self-guided but comes with emergency support, ensuring both independence and security during your journey.
