Walking Experience in Khayelitsha

Immerse yourself in the culture, history and heritage of our township.

Plan for the Day: Our tour will start at Chumisa Primary School for an introduction into Khayelitsha, followed by a walk through Site B one of the older neighbours in the community in which we will explore daily life in the township. From there we will catch a local taxi (minibus) and make our way to Khayelitsha Remembrance Square to engage in some heritage displayed on mosaic artwork before crossing to Khayelitsha mall, passing through mini Africa (a local market place). Our last stop will be at Siki's Koffee Kafe for a taste of some local coffee and snacks. This is where we will end our tour together.
