South African Mountaineering Development and Training Programme (MDT): Building Skills and Access in Mountaineering

The South African Mountaineering Development and Training Programme (MDT) is a specialised initiative focused on developing mountaineering skills, promoting safety, and increasing access to mountain environments across South Africa. MDT is dedicated to nurturing new climbers and hikers through structured training, mentorship, and development programmes designed to build confidence and competence in the outdoors.
