West Coast National Park Adventures

The West Coast National Park is slowly becoming synonymous with kayaking, originally the only activity allowed here was hiking but today it is the perfect playground for those adventurous souls in the area.  Only an hour or so drive from Cape Town it is any easy weekend adventure getaway.  Also home to the famous Postberg section that is renowned for its flowers during the flower season.  Hiking and mountain biking around the park is a great way to explore all that this magnificent area has to offer.  The cycling and mountain biking routes are well laid out varying from tarred roads to Jeep tracks.  The reserve not only has plenty day walks but also hosts the Postberg two day hiking trail.  So don’t wait for the flower season to visit the West Coast National park but come and enjoy all the other outdoor adventure activities it has to offer.  Remember to try out the Houseboats for accommodation.
