For visitors who like a little adventure on holiday, Signal Hill, has a way more important function. It’s the launch site for tandem paragliding.
When the weather is right, this 350-meter high hill, sees colorful swarms of paragliders launching into the sky. The tandem flight varies in duration depending on the wind direction but gives you plenty of time to take in the astounding panoramic scene. A gentle touch down near the Sea Point Promenade on the Atlantic Seaboard completes this must-do Cape Town experience.
