Ocean Walker at Ushaka Marine World is the only place in South Africa where you to do this. You’ll cruise around on the floor of the open ocean exhibit looking and feeling very much like an astronaut- it might not be the moon but it’s a whole new wonderful world of large silverfish, sand sharks and peculiar looking rays.
Children as young as 12 can take part in this exciting activity. It will give them a glimpse into an environment they’d never usually experience, except perhaps on their PlayStation but the creatures they will encounter on their ocean walk will be made from cells not pixels!
