St Lucia Adventures
St Lucia The town of St Lucia is close to the mouth of the St Lucia Estuary, which is one of the most notable features of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO world heritage site.
It’s a treasure trove of biodiversity that encompasses eight interlinked biomes, conserving South Africa’s largest wetland system, the most southerly coral reefs in the world, some of the world’s highest forested coastal dunes, and loads of birds and animals in the wide open spaces.
So it’s an awesome place to go paddling to check out the animals and birds, snorkel in the crystal clear rock pools, take a guided walk on the beach to watch nesting turtles at night, or to go on a long hike or horse ride through the game-filled grasslands.
Or go fishing.
