Meet our experienced kayaking guide as you make your way to the Kosi Bay Mouth parking area. Upon arrival, he will provide a safety pre-briefing and offer tips to enhance your paddling experience. Our two-man sea kayaks are user-friendly, ensuring a smooth and secure journey.

The kayaking adventure kicks off with a crossing to the opposite bank of the Kosi estuary, navigating through the traditional Thonga fish kraals. Along the southern shoreline, you’ll be guided into the intricate mangrove channels, offering a captivating view of the remarkable mangrove islands.

Your knowledgeable guide will highlight the diverse mangrove species within the Kosi Bay system and help you spot some of the unique birdlife that calls these islands home. The tour then proceeds towards the river Kukalwe, a picturesque freshwater sanctuary for fish and birdlife, possibly including a sighting of the resident hippo.
