This would be the real thing, nothing artificial about it – on real rock, with real rubber on your feet, chalk on your hands, you choose what you want to climb and you are in charge of belaying. If we cannot offer it on these terms, we will not go there in the first place.
The climbing on offer is mostly sport climbing. Our specialities are Swinburne and Eagle Mountain (near Harrismith) in the Free State, as well as the beautiful and isolated White Umfolozi (near Vryheid) in the middle of Zululand. We are not restricted to these areas, rock climbing excursions we conduct nationally. Eagle Mountain (formerly Mount Everest) and Swinburne are the 2 major climbing spots in the Free State Province. Both are located near the town of Harrismith, just about twenty kilometres from each other. No need to be a pro, really, anyone can do it.
