Kowie River Adventures

The Kowie River in the Eastern Cape flows between Grahamstown and the Indian Ocean.  This beautiful little South African river only 94 km long with its estuary in Port Alfred is a must visit for adventurers in South Africa.  One of the great activities on offer is renting a houseboat to explore the lower regions of the river, these houseboats are self-drive and make for an awesome family weekend activity.  Other activities include river cruises, fishing, sundowner trips, waterskiing and canoeing on the Kowie River.  It is an easy drive from Port Elizabeth.
