Aliwal Dive Centre is situated in Umkomaas on the South Coast of South Africa. They offer a 4 day PADI Open Water Course.

All you need to bring is swimwear, a towel and a smile. We even have a small restaurant on site that offers simple breakfasts, lunches and a variety of cool drinks and snacks, even a beer for after a hard day at sea.
All of our training is done on our premises in our fully equipped training room and our 4m heated, salt water swimming pool. The course usually takes 4 days and this is broken into 1 day of theory; 1 day of pool skills; and 2 days of diving with 2 dives on each day.
We also offer a DSD (Discover Scuba Diver) course. The way we structure our DSD’s is that the student/s come to the dive centre on the first day in order to do the classroom and pool sessions and then they will come back on the second day to do the ocean dive. We charge R 1 200.00 per person for the DSD.
At the end of DSD, please note that the candidate will not be a qualified diver – this course merely gives a taste what diving is like.
