Aimed at families and groups of friends who are looking for more than just a walk amidst beautiful surroundings. Ignite your senses in nature and take some time to explore hidden gems along the way.
Groups such as painters, writers, birders, study groups and the like, can have their own personal Gifts of the Earth walk custom designed too.
Fun activities along the way can include; a scavenger hunt of natural treasures, creative writing, art and music, storytelling, identifying animal tracks and time to just sit enjoy and soak up the sounds of nature. These walks unfold according to your needs.
Each child that participates on the walk will receive a paper journal to take home. An outdoor adventure with nature, wildlife, birding and botanical interest.
Locations to choose from are forest, beach, river or private gardens & estates. Walks are moderate to easy and take place at various locations all boasting natural beauty in the Garden Route area. … the choices are endless. You can do this more than once!
Either 1½ to 2-hour or 2½ to 3-hour option. Usual time slots are 10h00 and 14h00
Indemnities need to be signed on arrival for all participants. Adults to accompany minors.
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for hiking and closed shoes. Feel free to bring camera, a notebook or sketch pad, as there will be stops along the way. Bring a warm top & water bottle. A light snack is provided.
