Negotiate the red dunes stretching to the horizon and encounter the powerful, black-maned Kalahari lions, solitary leopard, cheetah and grazing herds of buck and Blue Wildebeest.

This is a guided, 214 km long trail in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park. It runs over three nights and four days – from Monday to Thursday.  The starting point alternates between Twee Revieren and Nossob on a monthly basis.

Limited to 2–5 vehicles per trip, only 4x4 vehicles without trailers are allowed.  The trail is totally self-catered and participants should bring their own water, firewood and tents. A guide accompanies trailists in his own vehicle, making regular interpretative stops. Daily distances on the trail are 50–65 km per day.
