We cater for all riding levels, from beginners to advanced riders, and we make sure to accommodate groups with mixed abilities without compromising safety or fun. Choose from a selection of trail options, from our ever-popular Premium Beach Trail, that allows for a swim on horseback in the crystal clear the Atlantic Ocean, a romantic Sundowner Trail, or Exclusive Champagne Trail to celebrate a special occasion, or perhaps the ultimate wedding proposal.
Pearly Beach Horse Trails is a family-owned and run business, with the emphasis on providing our guests with a memory of a lifetime. A full professional photographic/video package is provided on every trail, with special attention paid to every detail. All trails are around 2½ hours in duration, and refreshments are served. Groups are small, with a maximum of eight guests, allowing for individual attention. We have a variety of well-behaved horses and ponies (many rescued and rehabilitated by the owners), to suit all personalities. If experience allows, cantering and galloping is provided, with long stretches of white sand beach allowing for the ultimate thrill, as well as dune riding. In season (June to November), Southern Right Whales may be viewed from horseback in the bay, and many bird, mammal, reptile and marine species are seen along the trails.
For those who would like to experience the beauty and wonder of our Fynbos Kingdom, we also have a superb Mountain Fynbos Trail that is ridden during the cooler months.
Tailor-made and speciality trails (Full Moon Trail, Wine Tasting Trail to name a few) are also available on request.
