Go in search of Gifts of the Earth… ~ Stanley Island ~
We invite you to enjoy this special walk and unique experience with Ingwe Forest Adventures at Stanley Island; private nature reserve in the Keurbooms River, Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.
This spectacular island on the Keurbooms river, fluctuates in size with the ebbing and flowing of the tides but, is roughly 28ha and for those that wish to extend their experience self-catering accommodation from luxury to family style is also offered.
Ingwe Forest Adventures have the privilege of being the only company with access to offer these special Gifts of the Earth walks. Our groups are kept small to ensure an intimate experience.
Ignite your senses and explore indigenous milkwood forest, pristine wetlands, private beaches and coastal thicket along your walk that is also home to a small herd of Zebra! Chances of spotting other wildlife from Bushbuck to Otters frolicking about and not to mention the abundance of birdlife. Identifying animal tracks and droppings, feathers and bird calls to just taking some time out to absorb the surrounding beauty and uniqueness of this special place is priceless.
