Hog Hollow Horse Trails use a bygone mode of transport to offer a contemporary carriage drive experience in the beautiful Crags area close to Plettenberg Bay. This is a delightful way to explore the verdant foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and the relatively new but rapidly expanding winelands of Plettenberg Bay.
Our charming vintage carriage is drawn by 2 Percheron draft horses whose love of their work, like Border Collies, can be felt by all their passengers. The carriage can take up to 16 people and is canopied making this a great all-weather activity.
There are various outings to choose from. A 30-minute trot will introduce you to the area and includes a glass of our best local bubbly and a delicious snack platter en route. Longer excursions allow time to stop off at boutique wine farms and join a cellar tour and there is an option that includes lunch at a wine estate.
