The resort is located in the Maluti Mountains in Lesotho – 3 hours from Bloemfontein and approximately 5 hours from Johannesburg and Durban.The altitude and terrain is the perfect preparation for Africa’s great hiking adventures, including Mount Kilimanjaro. Test your equipment and check your fitness levels as you discover stunning views, magnificent waterfalls and secluded shepherd’s huts.
Our trails range from an easy-going 2.5-hour hike along the Motete River to a full-day 19km trek in surrounding mountains. All the routes are clearly marked, or you can hike with one of our expert local guides. Be sure to pack everything you’ll need for Lesotho’s changeable weather conditions, and to sign in and out of our hiking register. Hiking alone in the Maluti Mountains is definitely not recommended.
