Adventure Zone Robberg - Abseiling

Adventure Zone Robberg offers abseiling trips in Robberg Nature Reserve near Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.

We entered into an agreement with Cape Nature after many months of negotiations, we are so proud of this partnership and promise to bring loads of adventure, activities and excitement to the Western Cape region.

Plettenberg Bay is the home of our third site, abseiling has never been this much fun.  Not only will you be able to go down a 14 story (40m) cliff, you will view Robberg nature reserve from an entire new angle.

Robberg is a well known nature reserve and heritage site with many visitors and hikers from across the world visiting on a daily basis, we have not added adventure, excitement and adrenaline to this already stunning site. Our trained and qualified team of adventure guides are ready to take you down Robberg, after your abseil you will be able to view and explore Nelson’s cave before your short hike back to the top and the beginning of the abseil point, this is not just an ordinary abseil it’s so much more.

You will be busy for about 30 minutes, keep calm you don’t have to go alone you can take your partner with you as you’re allowed to go down in pairs of 2 people at a time.

Included in the rate is all the equipment you’ll need, safety gear and harnesses, you will receive a safety briefing and also a tutorial on how to abseil down the steep cliffs of Robberg.  Hold on to your hat because you might just enjoy this so much you will want to go again and again.
