Tubing Trips in Magoebaskloof - Family Adventures in Limpopo.
Tubing at Magoebaskloof Adventures which is based 11 kilometres outside the quant village of Haenertsburg, Limpopo, is a must-do activity when visiting our neck of the woods.
This is evident by the sheer amount of repeat guests that return every summer to partake in the almost three kilometre journey that involves free floating down one of South Africa’s iconic rivers in one of our yellow gecko-tubes. The two and a half hour trip starts deep in the previously unreachable gorge of the upper Groot Letaba River.
You will find yourself gazing at this pristine wonderland while you glide through crystal clear waters with breathtaking views as well as through some roaring white water rapids which will get your adrenalin pumping. One of the highlights of the trip are the impressive waterfalls which allow guests the choice of jumping down if they feel up to the challenge! Do not fear though as more laidback options are on offer whereby you can simply float over in your tube or climb down via a ladder if jumping is not for you.
Safety is our number one priority and this trip takes place under the watchful eye of our highly experienced and well trained staff who will constantly be guiding, encouraging and coaching you. The trip definitely does provide something for everyone from fauna and flora enthusiast to the thrill seeking daredevil and is therefore highly recommended for family groups, a bunch of friends, birthday parties, school camps and corporate teambuilding. A lifejacket is compulsory and will be provided to every guest and we recommend that you wear water shoes or a pair of old sneakers.
