Their most special offering is the experience of swimming with Cape fur seals at Cape Point, on the tip of the Cape Peninsula. Snorkelling is for everyone as no dive certifications or experience are required. And you don’t need to bring much other than your swimsuit as snorkelling equipment and a 5mm wetsuit are provided.
Enjoy an ocean safari with a boat ride that takes you out to Cape Point. Look out for penguins, whales and sea birds as you pass significant sites like the Dias crosses and the Roman Rock lighthouse.
Then, jump into the water where an underwater world will open up when you don a pair of fins and a mask and snorkel to watch the playful seals. These friendly and inquisitive creatures live up to their nickname ‘dogs of the ocean’. They mostly hang about on the surface but will also swim and twirl all around you. Seals live in this area and they are active all year round.
This trip takes five hours and hot showers, beverages and lunch are provided afterwards. Remember to pack your swimming kit, sunblock, towel and warm clothing for after your swim.
