The Great Karoo has always been one of my favourite destinations when searching for adventure in South Africa. So when you are next looking for a starting point for an adventure, why not choose Somerset East. Trout Fishing in the area is extremely good and some of the hiking trails will take you through beautiful valleys that you did not expect to find in the Karoo.
