The Wild Coast is one of South Africa’s jewels: a beautiful and unspoilt coastline showcasing friendly people, stunning scenery and a rich marine life. We offer bespoke slackpacking tours for private groups, from 2 to 20 persons, staying at chain of small family run hotels and eco-friendly guest lodges along an unbroken stretch of empty beaches.

The full ‘hotel hopper’ trail is approx. 85 km long, but sections can be hiked according to need and ability. Choose the start point and duration of your hike (usually 3-5 days) and we arrange the rest. Bags are transported around so you walk with just a light day bag accompanied by a local guide. Day 1
Shuttle from East London airport or other collection point to your start hotel for dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 2 to 5
Walk each day with a local guide for approx. 15km following coastline southwards to next hotel.
Packed lunch provided and DBB at destination hotel. Bags transported between hotels.

Day 6
Shuttle from end hotel to airport or collect car and drive home.
