The powerful Umzimkulu River divides Port Shepstone in two, a wonderful asset. If you followed the river inland, taking the Mzimkulwana tributary you would come, after about 25-kilometers, to the Oribi Gorge. This spectacular natural setting is a dream come true for the adventure inclined. Some of the most extreme zip line rides can be enjoyed (if that is the word!) here. Taking advantage of the towering perpendicular cliffs, there’s even a slide starting 680-meters above the ground that gains speeds of around 160-kilometer per hour!
