Scuba Diving in Simon's Town, Cape Town - PADI Courses.
The Cape Peninsula is the transitional zone between two extremely contrasting oceanic systems, the warm Agulhas current that sweeps down the east coast and the icy nutrient rich Benguela current creating a marine environment that supports a fascinating array of flora and fauna. Our Simon’s Town PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) accredited scuba diving operators offer a variety of exciting daily dives in this highly rated scuba diving area.
Right in Simon’s Town’s backyard you’ll have access to popular shallow shore dives, perfect for beginners, swims through swaying kelp forests where you might spot a variety of small shark and, just because this is the Cape of Stormed most feared peninsula of the early mariners- a few shipwrecks. Penguin’s, whales and dolphins might all magically appear on dives around Simon’s Town, but your most likely companions will be the curious Cape fur seal. Dive masters accompany all dives whether shore or boat based.
