As well as a fabulous and fun dive at uShaka Marine World Aquarium you can do a PADI dive course, learning in nice warm tropical water. Or you could do a dive charter into the bay - or further south to Aliwal Shoal, or north to the coral reefs of Sodwana Bay and Maputaland. Durban is a city, centered around the ocean, and diving is the best way to interact with the ocean and the many marine animals that live in it.
