A scenic flight gives you the best opportunity to appreciate the deeply folded mountain ranges around Stellenbosch as well as to take in the enormous scale of this famous winegrowing region. Fly over historic Cape Dutch homesteads with their characteristic gables and long stately driveways, then along the treelined squiggle of Stellenbosch’s Eerste River, then flip over the high narrow ridge of one of the ranges into a steep cliff sided abyss with the apt name of Duiwelskloof (Devils Gorge).
